Home to the world’s largest hockey stick, Eveleth, MN has a reputation for producing excellent hockey players. The town has been home to the US Hockey Hall of Fame since 1973. As a sporting community, the nearly 4,000 residents are aware of the role a good breakfast plays in the success of the upcoming day. Here are three of our favorite breakfast places worth the morning drive.

1. Kunnari’s Kitchen and Coffee House

When fire destroyed the bakery in 2012, the Kunnari family decided to create something even better, building Kunnari’s Kitchen and Coffee House from the ruins. The Kunnaris designed the new business around their commitment to making a positive offering to their local community. The restaurant retains the farmer’s market feel and includes a bakery, farm fresh fruit and vegetables, and, as of late, a gift shop.

Breakfast is served at Kunnari’s Kitchen and Coffee House from 6am until 11am daily. Located at 1305 8th Street, the kitchen serves breakfasts made from scratch with the finest ingredients from their family farms. The breakfast menu is reasonably priced and served by their friendly team.

2. Village Inn

Next time the kids and all their friends want to come with you for breakfast at Village Inn, you will be glad of the spacious interior offered by the Ford Explorer. The restaurant is situated at 1500 13th Street and serves breakfast from 7 am daily.

One of the best things about the Village Inn is even if you sleep late, you can still grab breakfast there, as the restaurant serves its breakfast menu all day. There is something to suit all tastes with a range of different breakfast options, including their signature skillets, three-egg omelets, classic breakfasts, and a selection of griddle favorites.

3. Caribou Coffee

Located at 1462 S 12th Avenue, Caribou Coffee is the perfect spot to grab breakfast on the run. The specialty coffees are worth the trip with favorites, including the Ho Ho Mint Mocha, Birthday Cake Latte, Pumpkin White Mocha, and Fa La Latte. Over the summer months, Caribou Coffee offers iced versions of a number of their signature coffees. Caribou Coffee is open from 5 am weekdays and 6 am weekends.

Breakfast is served all day and includes bakery items, bagels, and a range of breakfast sandwiches. For something different, try the Chicken Chorizo Burrito or the Maple Waffle Sandwich. There is a special menu available for kids, which includes the specialty Kid’s Reindeer Drink of sweetened steamed milk and a shot of their favorite flavor.
With breakfast options like these, there’s no excuse for missing breakfast in Eveleth. Dine in and takeaway options are available at each of the restaurants. If you’re worried your current vehicle won’t make it to your breakfast restaurant, give Lundgren Motors Ford a call. We can help you find a car that will have you arriving in style.
