2022 Ford Edge

The 2022 Ford Edge comes in many trim levels, such as the SE, SEL, ST-Line, Titanium, and ST. Nearly every model comes with a different set of wheels. For example, the SE features 18-inch wheels, the ST-Line has 20-inch gloss black wheels, and the Titanium sits on 19-inch wheels. Other exterior features include LED headlights starting with the SE, body-colored bumpers and lower cladding on the ST-Line, and rain-sensing wipers on the Titanium trim level.

Apart from the ST, every Ford Edge features a 2-liter, turbocharged four-cylinder engine. This engine generates 250 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque. Experience a more powerful Edge with the ST trim level. This trim level features a turbocharged, 2.7-liter V-6 engine that generates 335 horsepower and 380 pound-feet of torque. While the 2-liter engine pairs with an eight-speed automatic transmission, a seven-speed automatic transmission complements the 2.7-liter engine.

Both engines send power to all four wheels through an all-wheel-drive system. In terms of fuel efficiency, the ST's 2.7-liter engine gets you 19 mpg in the city and 25 mpg on the highway. All other trim levels get 21 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the highway with the 2-liter engine. You also get towing abilities with the 2022 Edge. The 2-liter engine can tow up to 1,500 pounds, while the 2.7-liter tows up to 3,500 pounds. Thanks to the SUV's suspension system, the Edge even provides strong off-road handling.

When you open the doors of the Ford Edge, you're met with a roomy cabin and upscale materials. Find simulated leather upholstery in the SEL, red accent interior stitching in the ST-Line, and leather upholstery in the Titanium trim level.

You and your passengers can also take advantage of upgraded technology. The 2022 lineup features an infotainment system with a 12-inch touchscreen display, along with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capabilities. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto let you connect your smartphone to the Edge so you can answer calls, play music, and get directions to your next destination. The Ford Edge also comes with many audio systems, such as a six-speaker system with the SE, a nine-speaker system with the SEL, and a 12-speaker system in the ST.

This five-seater SUV comes with many safety features to give you greater confidence behind the wheel. Standard with the SE, the Ford Co-Pilot360 package includes many driver-assistance features like automatic high beams, a forward-collision mitigation system, a lane-keeping system, and a blind-spot monitor with a cross-traffic alert. If you opt for a trim level outside of the SE, you can add the Ford Co-Pilot360 Assist+ package. This optional safety package includes features like an evasive steering assist, a navigation system, and adaptive cruise control—all of which may provide greater peace of mind.
