What if filling a Ford could help fill a pantry? This September, Lundgren Motors in Eveleth is joining Ford dealers around the world for the Ford Dealer Global Food Drive. Through September 30, Lundgren Motors is collecting food, household essentials and monetary donations to benefit the Quad City Food Shelf and help provide much-needed resources to local families and individuals. Last year, Ford dealerships across the globe collected more than 2 million pounds of food, demonstrating what can happen when dealerships and communities work together. Lundgren Motors was proud to contribute more than 230 pounds to the Quad City Food Shelf in 2025. This year, the dealership is setting its sights even higher with a goal of collecting 300 pounds. What Can You Donate? The Quad City Food Shelf welcomes a variety of shelf-stable food and household essentials. Community members can help by donating unexpired items such as: Canned meat, vegetables, fruit and soup Boxed pasta and other pantry staples Peanut butter Cereal Paper towels and toilet paper Cleaning supplies Personal hygiene products Monetary donations are also welcome and can help the food shelf purchase items needed to meet current community needs. Help Lundgren Reach 300 Pounds For Lundgren Motors, the goal isn't simply to collect more food than last year. It's about helping neighbors who may be facing food insecurity and making sure local resources are available when they're needed. “At Lundgren’s, we strive to be a true community partner and hosting a food drive is just one way we can offer our support,” said Laura Hughes, General Manager of Lundgren Motors.
