2025 Ford Ranger - navigation system

The Ford Navigation System is powered by Ford’s SYNC 4 technology, which also powers the infotainment system. This navigation system helps you to find your way to any destination easily and safely. As your Ford dealer, we want to tell you more about some of the benefits of this connected navigation system.

Benefits of the Ford Navigation System

Subscription Based

The navigation system is subscription-based. All 2025 Ford vehicles have a complimentary subscription for one or three years, depending on your Ford model. Once the complimentary period ends, you can extend your access for as long as you want by taking out a new subscription plan.

If you don’t renew your subscription, the navigation system will still work, but with reduced functionality. You’ll see your vehicle moving on the screen, but any real-time information, like traffic updates, road closures, and alternative routes, won’t be displayed.

The 2025 Ford Ranger has something for everyone. It has a solid carrying and towing capacity, making it perfect for work or a road trip. It is Ford Tough, combining strength, durability, and reliability with the ability to take on and overcome any challenge. In addition, you can easily and affordably add powerful off-road capability for when you want to conquer the great outdoors. We want to give you a few reasons why drivers love the Ranger.

Powerful Engines

The Ranger offers two engines that prove size isn’t everything. The standard Ranger engine is the 2.7L EcoBoost V6, with 315 hp and 400 lb-ft of torque, while the available 3.0L EcoBoost V8 pushes out 405 HP and 430 lb-ft of torque. When you pop the hood, you’ll be amazed at how Ford’s EcoBoost technology compresses such power into relatively small packages.

EcoBoost technology uses turbocharging, direct fuel injection, and variable camshaft timing to produce more efficient, carefully controlled combustion. This increased efficiency allows engine designers to reduce engine size and weight while providing more bang for your buck. In addition, EcoBoost engines use less fuel, reducing trips to the pump. Both engines are paired with 10-speed automatic transmissions.
